To Go or Not to Go?

"No! Don't do it! You do not want to be in school for another 2 or 3 years, trust me. You're barely over halfway through this little adventure to get your associate's degree. Why torture yourself more?"

"Of course you should do it! What's a few more years? You'll wind up with a bachelor's degree in something you love, and it can only help you and your business along the way."

That... is pretty much the argument my brain has with itself virtually every day lately. The current semester of school is almost over (I cannot wait for summer vacation), and yet the decision of whether or not to continue my education after next spring is bothering me nonstop. To be honest, I never would have dreamed I'd even consider going on after this. Well, actually, I never would have dreamed I'd be in college right now, let alone even more in the future.

It's a daunting task - finding the school I want, that is. And I'm such an overthinker that nothing is ever simple. Ever. Which makes this a virtual nightmare. For some reason though, I have more days with positive thoughts than negative ones. And when that happens to this realist, it means something. Usually it means I've got a green light from my gut. Granted, I don't have a green light from my bank account, but I'm learning to go with the flow and let God and life help straighten it out, because, well, He's awfully good at that.

Regardless of whether or not I continue on after next spring, right now I'm counting the days until summer vacation. A few months without any textbooks, assignments or tests can't come soon enough.
